Originally from the Netherlands, I’ve lived in several European countries and set down roots in Cologne, Germany, where I've lived since 2009.

I make art to unwind and forget about the stress of everyday life. Sometimes, I create something I can hang on the wall and make a space more beautiful, or at least more interesting.

I got into the world of painting 15 years ago, when a friend invited me over to paint after work one day. I quickly discovered the joy of creating individual art and experimenting with colours, shapes, compositions, and textures. My artistic style has grown organically from the freedom of the creative process; each piece I create is guided by spontaneous intuition, rather than a fixed concept.

Making art is like planting a garden: ideas, visions, and plans give way to the shapes, movements, and displays of nature finding its way.
